Autism Toolbox and Parent's Portal

Autism Toolbox and Parent's Portal

Our Autism Toolbox brings together advice, local support, services and resources for parents and carers of autistic children.

A child does not need a diagnosis to access support. Most schools, colleges, and health services offer support based on need with or without a diagnosis.

The Autism Toolbox and the Parent's Portal will provide advice and signpost families to support, services and resources to help support a child. It can be accessed regardless of whether the child has an autism diagnosis.

The Autism Toolbox

Whether or not a child has an autism diagnosis, the toolbox will:

  • support families in a variety of situations they may not have faced before
  • make them feel more comfortable dealing with autistic behaviour
  • help make sure that a child with autism feels happy, confident and loved
