Role

The employment start date and the job title can be recorded but this isn't an essential requirement. It may be helpful to standardise the job titles where possible to facilitate searching where necessary. If you do include it, then job roles (and start dates of job roles) should be updated, where appropriate, as the range of vetting checks may need to be adjusted in line with any new job role.

You may also want to consider whether a volunteer should be listed as a "supervised volunteer" or as an "unsupervised volunteer" as that description will impact the kind of vetting checks required.
