Inclusion Team
Inclusion Team
Buckinghamshire Council employs an Inclusion Team as part of its Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) services. This team consists of Specialist Teachers and Inclusion Practitioners. These teachers and practitioners work across the county to support children and young people with a wide range of needs.
The Inclusion Team works to promote the successful inclusion and progress of children and young people (CYP) with SEND. Their role is to facilitate effective SEND provision. This ensures that CYP are enabled to reach their full potential and achieve positive outcomes.
How the Inclusion Team works
Specialist Teachers and Inclusion Practitioners collaborate with:
- SENDCOs
- Class teachers
- Teaching assistants
- Key workers
- Children and young people and their families
- Other agencies
This is to support the child and young person in their academic and personal development.
