YP has developed their skills in CV writing and in applying for jobs or Higher Education.
Independence
Young Person (YP) is able to manage potential income. This includes personal independence payments (PIP) and incoming bills.
YP can show skills in time management and negotiating travel/transport.
YP understands different types of living arrangements and which of these are positive or possible.
YP has begun to plan for future living.
Community inclusion
Young person (YP) understands personal budgets and how to spend it to further PfA aspirations.
YP understands the potential risks relating to drugs and alcohol within the community. They will be able to make safe choices.
YP understands how the criminal justice system works, so they can function within the community.
YP has developed increasing social awareness. This includes understanding and reasoning skills to promote social and emotional wellbeing and reduce vulnerability within the community.
Health
Young person (YP) has an understanding of their health needs. They will be able to manage these where applicable.
YP can access their GP or other health professionals as appropriate.
YP has an understanding of the importance of regular checks including:
medical, dental and optical checks.
YP understands healthy choices. This includes healthy eating and the benefits of exercise. They will take steps to remain healthy and active.
