Join us at our conference to hear from national and local speakers, where we will be exploring topics to include practical guidance on embedding the SRE/PSHE curriculum, contextual local experience of partners engaged on the frontline, findings from the recent Ofsted review of sexual abuse in schools and colleges and the latest guidance on managing incidents of online harmful sexual behaviours.

Peer on Peer Sexual Harassment and Abuse – challenging culture and the role of PSHE education
Dr Elly Hanson, Clinical Psychologist and Researcher
Dr Elly Hanson is a clinical psychologist and researcher who focuses on the prevention of abuse and more widely on supporting young people enjoy positive relationships. She undertakes consultation, research, training, and psychological assessments, working primarily with educators, law enforcement, social work teams, victims and survivors, and the voluntary sector. She is also Research Director of Fully Human, a new PSHE Association initiative, and as part of this has authored a report on pornography and the ways in which it can undermine young people’s autonomy, values, sexuality and relationships. In parallel she is developing with CEOP (part of the National Crime Agency) a preventative education resource for schools
